Serve on the Rochester Hills Public Library Board of Trustees
Due to a resignation following a retirement, the Rochester Hills Public Library is seeking a Rochester Hills resident to fill a board vacancy.
Board members are expected to adhere to the Library Board Ethics and Conflict of Interest Policy and conduct themselves officially in the best interests of the library and as worthy representatives of the library when out in the community. They have no power in office or role outside of the limits of governance of the library, and they serve in a voluntary manner and receive no compensation.
Interested community members can apply online by October 30. Interviews will be conducted and an appointed trustee will be added to the board in early January 2027. The appointee will serve on the board until November 2027 and can run for a seat in the 2027 Rochester Hills general election for either a two-year or a six-year term on the RHPL Board of Trustees
