Henry Ford Museum Docent Presents at RHPL
(ROCHESTER HILLS- Oct. 1, 2019) On Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. the rich history of local legend Henry Ford will be covered by renowned expert Mike Skinner. Skinner is a docent at the Henry Ford Museum and his specialty is the life of the iconic Detroit legend Henry Ford.
“Henry Ford is a fascinating piece of Michigan’s history,” Skinner said, “I look forward to sharing that history with the community and hopefully I can teach them something they’ve never heard before.”
Mike Skinner is a docent at the Henry Ford Museum located in Dearborn. He is also a docent at associated properties such as the Piquette Model T Plant and Fair Lane, also located in Detroit.
“We look forward to every opportunity to bring our community together to learn about local history,” said Community Relations Specialist Amanda Harrison Keighley, “We’re especially excited to host an expert like Mike Skinner.
The Life of Henry Ford will be held on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Rochester Hills Public Library and is open to everyone with an RHPL library card. This program is geared toward adults but all ages are welcome. Please register in advance at calendar.rhpl.org.
