Rochester Hills Public Library Announces Featured Authors for First Author Fair

(ROCHESTER HILLS- Sept. 30, 2019) Rochester’s literary scene comes alive during Shop Small Saturday’s Author Fair hosted by the Rochester Hills Public Library, in partnership with Rochester Writers, Saturday Nov. 30.

This literary event offers the chance to discover intriguing new authors from a variety of genres.

“We want attendees to become immersed in Southeastern Michigan’s literary scene with bite-sized samples of all the area has to offer. Who knows, you could walk away with a new novel to treasure or meet the next New York Times best-selling author,” said event co-organizer Amanda Harrison Keighley with the Rochester Hills Public Library.

The event will feature a mix of traditionally-published and self-published works.

“Rochester Writers is pleased to collaborate with the Rochester Hills Public Library to bring local authors together. This event will be a wonderful chance for readers and writers to meet each other,” said co-organizer and founder of Rochester Writers, Michael Dwyer.

The event is part of the national and local Shop Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
