Terms and Conditions
- Walk-in room use is open to the public; only RHPL cardholders in good standing can make room reservations for specific dates/times.
- Room use is limited to once per person, per day. Reservations can be made up to one month in advance.
- Specific study rooms are not guaranteed. Rooms will be assigned based on group size.
- Sign in at the Adult Reference Desk to receive a room key.
- Reserved rooms are guaranteed for 15 minutes from the reservation start time. If running late, call 248-650-7130.
- Reservations are good for up to four hours per day and longer if no one else is waiting for the room.
- The person who signs in is responsible for the condition of the room and the conduct of the group.
- It is expected that the room will be used for study purposes. For-profit use of the room is not permitted.
- Rooms left unattended for more than 15 minutes will be assumed to be vacated and any remaining personal belongings will be moved to the Adult Reference or Computer Help desks.
- Limit food and drink to finger foods and covered drinks.
- When leaving the library, return the room key to the Adult Reference Desk. Room keys cannot leave the library building.
- Do not exceed the listed capacity of the room.
