Reserve a Study Room
Terms and Conditions

Walk-in room use is open to the public; only RHPL cardholders in good standing can make room reservations for specific dates/times.

Reservations are limited to two (2) in a seven-day period. Reservations can be made up to one month in advance.

Specific study rooms are not guaranteed. Rooms will be assigned based on group size.

Sign in at the Adult Reference Desk to receive a room key.

Reserved rooms are guaranteed for 15 minutes from the reservation start time. If running late, call 248-650-7130.

Reservations are good for up to four hours per day and longer if no one else is waiting for the room.

The person who signs in is responsible for the condition of the room and the conduct of the group.

It is expected that the room will be used for study purposes. For-profit use of the room is not permitted.

Rooms left unattended for more than 15 minutes will be assumed to be vacated and any remaining personal belongings will be moved to the Adult Reference or Computer Help desks.

Limit food and drink to finger foods and covered drinks.

When leaving the library, return the room key to the Adult Reference Desk. Room keys cannot leave the library building.

Do not exceed the listed capacity of the room.
