Boys Under the Hood:

Auto history enthusiasts can view a presentation by WFNT-AM 1470 radio host and Vice President of the Genesee County Historical Society, Gary Fisher. Fisher, a lifetime resident of Flint, MI, will discuss how the GM-Flint connection began in a single neighborhood in his hometown and how he is ready to witness the city's revitalization. Fisher and his extended family have been a part of Flint's history for over 100 years. His great grandparents, grandparents, dad, cousins, uncles, and aunts worked for GM and his interest has been with them since childhood. The "Boys Under the Hood" presentation highlights the lives and stories of local automotive pioneers Durant, Dort, Buick, Chrysler, and others. Join us for an exhilarating ride through history!
