Reserve a Conference Room

Terms and Conditions

Room reservation requests will be reviewed Monday-Friday. Applications must be received at least one week in advance, but not more than two months before the requested reservation date. Reservations are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Submitting an application does not confirm the reservation. A reservation will be confirmed only via phone or email one to three business days after an application is submitted. Please review the Room Reservation Policy before applying for a room reservation. Meeting Room Use Policy

Multipurpose Room

  • Reservations may be made at least one week in advance by a non-profit, civic, or educational organization that has one member who is at least 18 years old and lives or works in Rochester, Rochester Hills, or Oakland Township, and holds a valid RHPL card in good standing
  • Meetings must be for civic, cultural, or educational purposes only
  • There is a reservation time limit of up to four hours per group, per reservation, per day. 
  • Available equipment includes a projector, screen, laptop, audio, and microphones
  • Food is permitted, but must be thoroughly cleaned up by the group reserving the MPR
  • Check-in at the Circulation Desk
  • The MPR should be reserved for groups with 25 to 90 people in attendance. 

Conference Room A & B

  • Reservations may be made at least one week in advance by a non-profit, civic, or educational organization that has one member who is at least 18 years old and lives or works in Rochester, Rochester Hills, or Oakland Township, and holds a valid RHPL card in good standing
  • Meetings must be for civic, cultural, or educational purposes only
  • There is a reservation time limit of up to four hours per group, per reservation, per day. 
  • The rooms are located on the library’s second floor
  • Technology equipment is not available for the conference rooms
  • Check-in at the second-floor Adult Services reference desk
  • Conference Room A should be reserved for groups with up to 26 people in attendance.
  • Conference Room B should be reserved for groups with up to 14 people in attendance.
